The Southwestern Regional Rendezvous is an annual gathering that celebrates the fur trade era, spanning from 1825 to 1840. This event celebrates the rich history and heritage of the American West. The southwestern Rendezvous is held each year in the Southwestern states; New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

The SWRR was started in 1984 and has been going strong ever since. Each year the Southwestern holds competitions in Archery, Blackpowder Shooting, Knife and Tomahawk throwing, Firestarting, Cooking, Pie Contests, Annual Poker Tournaments, Washers, Kids Games and our Highland Games! Each year we give $10,000 in Trader Bucks to contestants.

We also have plenty to offer for those that aren’t looking to compete! Plenty of traders, round robins, classes and night music.

If you’re new to Rendezvous and would like to get involved the days we’re open to the public are available on each year’s flyer. For more information and updates
